Hi, I'm Karen
WHERE I COME FROM
I was born and raised in Hamburg with my three siblings and I'm raising my own children here. I love Hamburg and I'm so proud to call it my home. And I want everyone in our community to feel the same and raise their own families here.
A THRIVING CAREER
I started my career in the construction industry in 2007 and have worked on various projects across Western NY providing safe, functional roadways and bridges for the traveling public. In 2019 I was elected to the Hamburg Town Board as a Councilmember representing over 60,000 residents in the Town that Friendship Built.
As an elected official responsible for collaborating on the annual budget and the passage of local laws, I also serve as liaison to the Hamburg Police, Public Safety, Domestic Violence, and Planning departments, as well as several Town committees. I am also the founder of the Hamburg Coalition for Equity and Inclusion (HCEI) and co-founder of our annual Hamburg Pride in the Park event.
As a lifelong Hamburg resident, it's an honor to serve the community where I grew up.

My re-election campaign is dedicated to creating equality and opportunity in the Town of Hamburg. I believe in working together with our police department to ensure the safety of our residents, and advocating on behalf of every individual in our town. I am committed to creating a sustainable environment for all of our residents and fighting to make sure that their voices are heard and respected. Join me in making a difference and continuing to move Hamburg forward.
